actually, the files on the siglinux site are out of date.  they'll work, but
not as good as the following:

first of all, make sure you have the latest version of dhcpcd for
it to work with v2.2.x kernels:
    ftp://phystech.com/pub/dhcpcd-1.3.17.tar.gz

next you'll need the perl MD5 module if you don't already have it:
    ftp://ftp.nuri.net/pub/CPAN//modules/by-module/MD5/MD5-1.7.tar.gz

and lastly you'll need a little daemon specifically written to interact with
the roadrunner network:
    http://sacrilege.org/rrd-1.1.tar.gz

!! read the docs !! for all of these packages and install correctly then
everything should work very easily.
