Anyone with compiled x11amp (static?)

This is sort of a wierd request. I was wondering if anyone compiled
x11amp with static library linkage. Because I can't compile it b/c
I don't have thread-safe Xlibs and I *think* the only way to get
thread-safe right now is to buy motif. Which I don't really want to do.
I *think* the only free thing similar is thread-aware libs which aren't
cutting it. Ths.
