I know UDMA is pretty fast and some IDE drives run at 7200 rpm, so with
hard drives it's not really an issue on a single user system. I was
wondering if anyone knows how that would extend to CDRs? I'm looking to
buy one for home and know that the transfer rate is quite important so
that the burners buffer stays full. There's a considerable price
difference for IDE vs SCSI CDRs, but I also have 3 devices IDE devices
and no SCSI devices in the intended machine. Any thoughts?
