Uhh actually dhcpcd-sv is wierd,
I had some trouble with it too.
Heres what my Debian 2.1 install has and works
perfect with either 2.0 or 2.2 kernels.
I think it checks the version of the kernel and runs
the correct dhcp.. any way here is the package
listing.
ii dhcpcd 1.3.17pl2-1 DHCP client for automatically configuring IP
un dhcpcd-sv <none> (no description available)
so as you can see I have dhcpcd installed no dhcpcd-sv
good luck..
