Hmm, maybe you can help me with my problem then.

I just setup the thing and I get the following on boot:

..
scsi : 0 hosts.
scsi : detected total.
..
scsi0 : AdvanSys SCSI 3.1E: ISA PnP 16 CDB: BIOS C800, IO 110/F, IRQ 10,
DMA 6
scsi : 1 host.

This is the correct driver and it does see the scsi device. However this
is the only mention of this in the boot sequence.

So, I put in a cd and tried to mount it like a regualar cd. I don't have a
/dev/sg0, btw. I guess I haven't done everything I need to do. Advice?
