You're right, my bad. I forgot that the deal was going to include a "Bill
Gates' ivory backscratcher fund" student fee. Anyway, this is *still* a
good deal for me, because it's my last semester!!

On another note, I was being forced to use IE 4.0 yesterday and sent some
form data over an unsecure connection. IE 4.0 popped up a confirmation
box asking me: "IE4: Continue submission?"
Which I found very amusing in a dark, evil way. :)

To make this actual relevant to a linux mailing list, I need some help
getting my ethernet card to work. When I first installed RH 5.1, the
"everything but the kitchen sink" kernel worked just fine for me. I
decided to recompile the kernel to remove some bloat, check yes on
networking, ethernet card, pci ethernet card, and ne2000 pci card. After
rebooting, it does not load the module. I modprobe'd it and it said there
were unresolved symbols in the 8390.o module. What is causing this? Do I
need to use a different compiler?

Cheers,
Robert K.
