I thought I'd figured out this thing but I was wrong...Anyway, I have this USR Sportster 56k Internal (PnP) that IS NOT a winmodem. Recently, I figured out how to use pnpdump and isapnp to make my modem work. Thinking that I'd have to type isapnp <configname> to make it work everytime is annoying, I decided to change the jumpers on the card to reflect COM1 so I don't have to do anything with the PnP stuff...Simple right? But I uncover another problem...Everytime the modem dials, it either doesn't want to connect (even though it dials and I hear the KSSSSH sounds) or it connects to 1200/v34/blah, sits there for 5 seconds and hangs up. I use EZPPP to connect and the init string is ATZ. Can anyone help? --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Send administrative requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
