If I'm reading this right, according to the Partition Magic/Boot Magic
documentation, you can create a primary EXT2 linux boot partition normally,
and you can put the swap partition as a logical drive in an extended
partition (along side some FAT and other partitions) that sounded a bit
fishy. is this actually possible?

also, is there any way to work without a swap partition. i think it's kinda
bad to waste 1 of 4 possible partitions on a swap drive.

thanks for all the input,
GT
