While Metcalfe should be praised for his invention, it doesn't take a
genius to see the anger in this article ("utopian balderdash" - toward
stallman, possibly?).
Also, claiming that unix is 30 years old doesn't say anything about
weather it's the better solution. Windows is considerably younger. But I
suspect it will be the "what not to do when you make an operating system"
example for OS professors for many more years.
As a side note, a lot of hostile geeks seem to be more childish than
meltcalfe when sending mail to places like mindcraft (even tho
mindcraft's behavior is inexcusable).
