the rage 128 is supposed to work under ppclinux. at least the rage lt
pro which i believe is a 128 based chipset? sorry i dont know more, i
havent actually gotten ppclinux installed on this beast yet due to my
cdrom still being in shipping...but the x-based installer supposedly works
ok. --perhaps it just uses 640x480 altho im not sure that that means anything
special in mac-land like it does in the PC world.

wrong. i have a few machines using v3 3000's (i think?) under linux
in a production environment. i got an xserver from "some guy" on the net
off of www.xxglidexx.com(?), and can find more info for you if you cant
manage yourself.
