I have a bunch of *.gz files that I would like to burn in a cd to save
space on device. Due to lack of space gunzip is not working (gunzip:
OPLTF02.plt: No space left on device)
As soon as I type,
device(92)# mkisofs -R -o Mydata.raw /scratch/zahed
I get a long list like
.
.
.
Using FIELD02_.000;1 for
/scratch/zahed/heat_cond/cavity/flowfield/4x_time/grid_2.5e-7/field02_2.plt.gz
(field02_1.plt.gz)
.
.
(max_temp_100K.plt)
Using MAX_TEMP.001;1 for
/scratch/zahed/heat_cond/cavity/flowfield/heat_cond_input/max_temp_273K.dat
(max_temp_100K.dat)
And an error,
cannot fwrite 4096*1
The likely problem is that the CD is bad! but I just opened this new
IMATION CD-R (4x) 1x-4x Compatible 650 MB/74 Min (CD Recordable)
Wondering what am I doing wrong!
Thanks in advance,
Zahed
