As far as Road runner's policy on servers and the like, I got a first
hand experience. I just recently got a "Cease and Desist" letter from
them stating basically that I was using too much bandwidth and that I
had better tone it down. If not they would take appropriate measures to
remove my access to the system. I was running the Rurouni Kenshin
shrine (http://surf.to/rkshrine) off of my cable modem. I think they
were mad about the total volume of the transfers rather than the
bandwidth per second used. By my calculations I was uploading somewhere
around 3 gigs a day through the road runner network. They sure don't
take kindly to this kind of use of the network.
