I just recently built a RH6.0 box to do exactly what you are talking about
(excepty with 3 computers behind the firewall).  The toughest part was
getting the kernel to like the 2 ethernet cards, finding out that pump is
broken (creating a fun routing problem), and learning how IPChains worked.
If you want tips, lemme know.  I'd be happy to pass on my knowlege.

ICQ, Real audio, and stuff like that work fine.  The only problem I had was
running games behind the fire wall.  Things like Diablo and BattleZone use
UDP packets, and for some reason I was never able to get linux to forward
them correctly.  If anyone can tell me how (and I have to see it working on
my box), I'll buy you dinner anywhere in Austin.
