well, I was running potato happily. then somehow, decided to update to whatever
debian has right now. so I did a

dselect install to update all the package on my box...everything went okey
until it's trying to configure some basic and yet most important package..

mainly, netbase.

here are the message I got...

Setting up netbase (3.16-5) ...
Cannot find termcap: Can't find a valid termcap file at
/usr/lib/perl5/5.005/Term/ReadLine.pm line 305

WARNING: Using deprecated debconf compatibility library.
WARNING: Using deprecated debconf compatibility library.
Starting portmap daemon: portmap.
Restarting internet superserver: inetd.

then it just hangs at this stage...I check the process. inetd did get killed
and respawn with a new inetd...

it's beening hanging for couple hours..I have to Ctrl+c out of dselect

any ideas?
