well, I know this is probably not the right group to ask, but pretty sure
some of you have this kind of experience before..
is there a way to compose a message, then post it to the newsgroup...I am
pretty sure there is a way...probably through CGI...
now suppose that's possible. but the news server is a local server
.utexas.edu and restrict the posting from the same domain only. and if
the web server is at another domain. I think that'll create a problem..
how about if I make the the posting on the web a mail, and send it to
someone at .utexas.edu
then is there a program that'll process the mail box, with certain subject
line, strip the message from mailbox, and post it to the newsgroup. assuming
that I have no control over which MTA for that user.
maybe this is a simple question for web programmers..but I just don't like
web program....thanks a lot..
