Hi,

Sometimes when I have multiple ssh (1.2.27) sessions open into another machine one of
the sessions will become almost completely unresponsive for minutes at a time and then
come back again. While that one session is bogged down the others are completely
responsive. The entire time I am able to ping the target host with minimal packet
loss and round trip times of around 300ms (good for the ppp line I am on).

Typically I am running vi or just at the command-line when this happens. The machine
isn't heavily loaded at all, has 128MB of ram and I am currently the only user of its
services.

Has anyone seen anything like this before or have any ideas on what might cause one
session to seem unresponsive while the others aren't? I don't think it is a matter of
me accidentally hitting ^S because one of the first things I tried to fix the problem
was ^Q.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Jacob
