I'm a fairly new linux user and I've run into a really strange problem. I am
running RH 6.1, and things were fine for quite awhile. Then one day, all
uploads I attempted to make (FTP, IRC DCC, whatever) hung almost
immediately. I can ping, I can connect to FTPs and send commands, but any
upload hangs after ~20k bytes indefinitely. Things work fine in windows.
Thinking I must have somehow screwed something up, I went ahead and
reinstalled RH 6.1 figuring that it would surely solve the problem. It
didn't...
I'm really lost. My one heavy linux using friend has no idea either. I'm
going to attempt using TCPdump (per suggestion) to see if I can figure
something out here before my eyes close, but I'm not sure I'm going to glean
much out of it.
If anyone has any ideas or suggestions I'd *really* appreciate it.
