I do not know if it is generally true or not ... From my recent experience
buying RAMs (DIMM though), buying directly from Micron's web site
(www.crucial.com) is cheaper than all the dealers including the online
ones and even the local infamous chipsmart! And you get real Micron brand
name RAM from their own web site. I cannot quite figure out how they can
compete directly with their dealers???
