Hey guys,
I have a strange thing coming up every time i try to initialize sound in
linux, it doesnt let me to do that in any non root account.
So i can use sound only as a root.
I compiled sound drivers right into the kernel...
My linux is slackware, in the past, when i was using redhat i had no
problems at all...

Another thing im confused with, is a strange windows like behaviour of my
X manager. Im currently using KDE, and it works fine, but lets say after a
couple of days of use, when i try to logout, i cannot do that, so i have
to use Ctrl+Alt+Backspace -- is there any problem with something?

I really appreciate your help.
