I have a quickcam and quickcam VC. It's been a while since I used
them, so things might have changed. The quickcam is usable under
linux but the quickcam VC is not. I don't know about the color
quickcam. (mine is an older B&W one)
The quickcam worked ok, but it is really sensitive to lighting. I
found I had to constantly twiddle with the parameters to even get a
viewable picture. A big headache.
What is the intended use of the camera? You can probably find
something better, but it's hard to say without knowing how you might
use it.
