Well, I'm finally breaking down and getting the cable modem (and
wondering if this now makes me an AOL user). Of course, I want it to
work under Linux, so I looked at the RoadRunner link from the siglinux
web page, and it explains all this stuff about the Road Runner Daemon
(rrd). However, I was under the impression that RoadRunner was just
using dhcpd now. Is that right, or do I actually need to get this rrd
stuff and follow the instructions? There's no date on the document,
but all the files are almost a year old, so I'm wondering if they're
out of date. If so, somebody might want to update the info.
