Hey, I _think_ I may have solved this. Seems there is a low-level
scsi driver for the "7000 and family of WD pci scsi cards." Never noticed
it because it is at the top listed as "7000FASST ..." instead of down in
the W's where I was looking. :)
Oh well, I haven't rebooted the machine yet so this may not be the
right solution.
(Still, $29 for a pci scsi adapter? I'm not complaining... :^) ).
