Probably not. Which Linux are you using? For instance, on my Red Hat
6.x boxes I need to do:
/sbin/chkconfig --level 2345 dhcpd on
to get the dhcpd startup script (/etc/rc.d/init.d/dhcpd) linked into the
right places.
