pop3 problem

I am trying to give 2 seperate domains lets say domain1.com and
domain2.com email, but they are both being hosted on 1 ip address.  I set
up the virtual pop like i thought it needed to be, but one host keeps
overriding the other. Like the pop sever sees domain1.com and domain2.com
as the same thing.  Anyone have any ideas?  It's possible to do this
right?
