I thought X was referring to Q from ST:TNG.  Shrug.

Anywho... are you running gpm?  I've known it to cause problems with my
mouse behavior.  If not, this might be a good time to try upgrading to
XFree 4.0.  It's definately faster and more stable thanks to a cleaner
design than previous XFree's.  The source worked great for my TNT and
Voodoo3.  Just a "make World" and "make install" and I was off.
