Dear Linux Users --

I have been using Redhat version 5.2 (vmlinux-2.0.36-0.7). I would like to
install the latest stable kernel and anything else that might need
changing, with hopes of getting newer version of some of the
tools/applications that I use (mostly precompiled binaries which are no
longer being built under 5.2). However, I don't want to break anything in
the process. I'm thinking
about getting redhat 6.2 or SuSE and trying to upgrade from a the CDroms.

Questions --

Can I upgrade to SuSE from Redhat 5.2 or should I stick to Redhat 6.2?
I think there is an option to "upgrade" on the installation. Any
experience.

THanks,
Dan
