I don't think you really have a problem.

Probably the simplest thing to do is get a dos boot[0] disk, put dos fdisk
on it and remove the partition.

Or you can use a linux boot disk and use its fdisk to do the same thing.

(Are you planning on installing Windows on it? It has been a LONG time
since I've installed Windows, but I think it lets you pick partitions and
such.)
