We are talking about setting up a new linux lab and of course the question comes up: Which distro?
I have used both SuSE and RH for a little while, and am of the opinion that SuSE is better from the workstation point of view (security, stability, ease of use/admin). But there seems to be a push around UT to use Red Hat as much as possible. So, I would _love_ to hear compelling arguments one way or the other. Feel free to thrown in other suggestions, too. Here's a list of our key requirements in some sort of haphazard descending order: Stability Security Ease of administrator stuff (we have a minimal staff) Ease of user stuff Support Package availability A lack of annoying bugs plus several others...
