Today at 5:27pm, Ryan Amos expounded: ++ I have a linux machine running as a NAT router. I was running on debian ++ woody with 2.4.4 for a while with no problems, but I upgraded to 2.4.15 ++ yesterday and it no longer works. I have two ethernet cards (both 3com ++ Etherlink XLs, one 10bt and one 10/100.) It recognizes both cards, but ++ will not initiate DHCP over the 10T card. Additionally, it won't work ++ under the old 2.4.4 kernel anymore either. I tried switching cables, but ++ to no avail. The DHCP works fine when I connect my windows machine to ++ it, it's a rather strange problem. If anyone has any ideas, let me know.
Well, if it doesn't work with the old kernel, then the problem is probably not the kernel. Is it possible that eth0 and eth1 have switched? What happens when you run dhcp manually? (And make sure that the blinkenlights on the right NIC blink.) -Paul -- The trouble with being punctual is that people think you have nothing more important to do. _______________________________________________ Siglinux mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.utacm.org/mailman/listinfo/siglinux
