Today at 5:54pm, Jeffrey Forman expounded: ++ I'm running Redhat 7.2 on a Dell Inspiron 8000 laptop, video card is a ++ Geforce2go with 32MB ram. My problem is that the command line doesn't ++ take up the whole screen. It will show up in the center, comprising ++ about 70% of the screen when I use vga=791 with lilo, which is 1024x768 ++ I believe. Anyone know where I can find the vga mode lines to make it ++ the entire screen, preferably 1400x1050, or maybe 1600x1200?
If you have a laptop it is ... strongly advisable to run it at the same resolution as the LCD display. You can change the font setting to get more or less lines of text at the console, but leave the resolution alone. If you do change the resolution, the display will be very unclear, for mathematical reasons left to the reader. -- What does "it" mean in the sentence "What time is it?"? _______________________________________________ Siglinux mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.utacm.org/mailman/listinfo/siglinux
