Just to let ya'll know. ----- Forwarded message from Lindsay Haisley <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> -----
For those of you who haven't heard yet, CACTUS will be bringing in Eric Raymond on June 11. He'll be at the Jake Pickle Applied Research Lab. Time is 7:00 PM. No pizza for this meeting, unfortuantely. We can't feed the masses! See the map and directions on the CACTUS website at <http://www.cactus.org/CACTUS/meetmap.html#location> if you need to know how to get there. For the few of you who don't know Eric's work, he's one of the principle movers and shakers in the open source community, the author of the much-quoted "The Cathedral and the Bazaar" essay and book, and an absolutely fantastic speaker. We're lucky to have him in town. This event is free and open to the public. -- Lindsay Haisley | "Everything works | PGP public key FMP Computer Services | if you let it" | available at 512-259-1190 | (The Roadie) | <http://www.fmp.com/pubkeys> http://www.fmp.com | | ----- End forwarded message ----- -- "If I have an apple and you have an apple, and we exchange apples, we each still have one apple.
