Am I missing something? You should be able to burn the three ISOs to CDs 
and then boot off of the first CD, nothing else neccessary.

As for using the ISOs right of the harddrive, it might work if VFAT support 
is compiled into the default kernel. But you are also going to need a boot 
disk to point lilo at the right partition.
