With relation to burning cd's, would it be prudent/possible/intelligent
to enlighten the new users on doing net installs? A good portion of the
new users who bring their machines live on campus, meaning they have a
nice big fat pipe to the ftp mirror of distro's at
marmot.ots.utexas.edu.

I'm personally familiar with doing a net install from a floppy with RH
and consistently use the Debian net install cd and it works perfectly.
This could be a way to slim down the number of burned (wasted) cd's. Any
thoughts?

My 2 cents,
