(this challenge directed at omar and victor both) i prefer rxvt since it supports transparency (which i finally got sick of, but it's still in there) and ansi color but is otherwise completely a vt220/xterm compatible terminal, which i have found to not be the case with eterm, konsole, and gnome-terminal. logging into "stock"-ish solaris and aix systems with one of the terms i'm not fond of often leaves you falling back to xterm or xterm-color $TERM which frequently leaves intense curses apps slightly broken and kills off some of the nifty features in those other terms. that it is still under fairly active development is a bonus (compared to xterm or xterm-color). _______________________________________________ Siglinux mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.utacm.org/mailman/listinfo/siglinux
