Today at 9:43pm, Erin Teachman expounded:

++ I have been trying to burn a mix of songs onto a cd. I turned the songs into
++ wavs and then used xcdroast to burn the disc.

Well, an audio CD is not just a CD-ROM with wav files on it. There are
things like a table of contents and the song format is more specific than
``wav''. Your burning software doco should have some information on how to
do this. I use cdrdao, and typically you create a table of contents file,
which contains filenames of wav files and some other information.

Some burning software is only for creating data CDs. If yours falls into
this category, you need to use something else.
