please continue to relay to the list your findings; i have in the back of
my head for years been knocking around the idea of car-mounting one of
these in my rear window (front would be nice but not visible from outside
without some serious bodywork in my current vehicle), mostly for the
purpose of having a dynamic bumper sticker, and one that could say on
demand things like "what part of SLOWER TRAFFIC KEEP RIGHT don't you
understand?", "visualize using your turn signals", "hang up and drive",
and the like.

i know that a device fitting my needs (wireless control, preprogrammable with
several messages--i don't want to be typing while i drive) has been available
for years in my pricepoint (sub $200), i've just never gotten around to
finding it. one that's linuxfriendly&computer-interfaceable would be a real
bonus.

thanks in advance!
