does anyone know if the guy who ran the (linux-based) kernel hacking class is still around? i heard it wouldn't be taught anymore because he wasn't going to be (available, willing, able) to teach it anymore but can't recall the story. anyone with firsthand info? even a student from that class would probably be able to tell us some stuff about setting up usermode linux and the fun of watching a system- inside-a-system go haywire while playing with the scheduler, or something. there are certainly some research groups working on the linux kernel-- i'll find out who and try to get them interested in presenting to siglinux (i'll air their topics here before asking them to present to gauge interest) _______________________________________________ Siglinux mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.utacm.org/mailman/listinfo/siglinux
