the easiest thing to try is bringing up your mixer (kmix or gmix if you have kde or gnome installed respectively) and seeing if it has an spdif or digital out control, and make sure it's not muted/too quiet. actually, you might play with every channel as i've seen the mixer/kernel be confused about what's what before. beyond that i personally don't have any advice but i'm sure someone who actually has a card with a digital out will pipe up with more advice. telling us the model of your soundcard will probably produce more applicable results as well. _______________________________________________ Siglinux mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.utacm.org/mailman/listinfo/siglinux
