Topic: CTF competition and our plan of attack
Time: 1 pm on Sunday (NOT at 12 this week!)
Where: ENS 130
READ THIS BEFORE YOU COME (http://www.cs.ucsb.edu/~vigna/CTF)
That will explain the basics, and the rules so that we're all on the
right track when we get started.

This week's hardcore meeting will be spent discussing our plan of attack
for the upcoming Defcon style capture the flag game we're participating
in. We need to organize a team and start splitting up the tasks so that
we're somewhat organized the day of the event. Our goal is to make our
machine extremely secured externally using snort-inline, squid and other
similar tools, so there will be a little prep work involved. We also
need to start settng up the attacking machines we'll be using. Come
ready to participate this will be a group discussion instead of the
normal lecture style presentations. Start thinking of ideas and
possibly even start reading up on some of the attacking and defensive
tools (http://packetstormsecurity.nl/ ,
http://www.insecure.org/tools.html, etc)
