IT/Systems Administrator MessageOne is expanding and is currently seeking to add an IT/System Administrator to our team. This role will allow the candidate to work in a highly dynamic environment with a growing start up organization. Responsibilities: The IT/System Administrator is a hands-on role, and will be responsible for handling all internal IT requests and projects. You will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining the internal development and quality assurance environments, managing internal phone systems and back up production engineering. Requirements: The ideal candidate will have proven experience in IT infrastructure, strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, hardware and software applications. Hands on experience managing phone systems. Extensive application support experience is required. Deep understanding and hands on experience with Solaris and Linux. Prior experience with Exchange and Lotus notes is preferred. Past experience is supporting software development and QA environments. Must be familiar with amavis, postfix, courier-imap and postgres. MCSE and Linux certifications are a plus. Experience with Perl, Java, C# and SQL is also a plus. Qualified candidates must also have project management experience. They will be highly self-motivated and directed with keen attention to detail and an exceptional customer service orientation. They will possess the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure team-oriented, collaborative environment. Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
