Hi,
I've been running linux mdk 10.0 and would like to try Fedora Core on another partition. The problem is that the anaconda thingie in the Fedora Core Install boot cd couldn't detect my SCSI controller & attached HDD (probably did not have the driver for it or something). Since the driver is there in my mdk installation, I was thinking if it's possible to remaster it into the iso image of the Fedora core cd, reburn it and try to install from there, will this solve the problem you think? where should I put the driver in the iso image? The path to the driver in my running Mandrake is: /lib/modules/2.6.3-7mdk/kernel/drivers/scsi/atp870u.ko.gz And the sys path is /sys/bus/pci/drivers/atp870u /sys/bus/pci/drivers/atp870u/0000:01:00.0 Do let me know what 2 do! ________________________________________________________________________ Analabha Roy Graduate Student Department Of Physics, University of Texas, 1 University Station C1600, Austin, Texas 78712-0264, United States emails: [EMAIL PROTECTED], Home Page: http://www.ph.utexas.edu/~daneel Get Firefox! ________________________________________________________________________ _______________________________________________ Siglinux mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://machito.utacm.org/mailman/listinfo/siglinux
