During try #2, I figured it out all by myself. Hrm, must be those wheaties I've been eating as I must be getting smarter!

Here is the answer (plus bonus answer) for all you dying to know:

Do not use "info emacs". Rather type...

c-h ?

...(i.e. "control-h ?")...This gives a list of keystrokes you can
try. One of these is "l" for "view lossage". Hitting...

l

...after...

c-h ?

...gives you the last 100 characters typed. Further dickering
determined that typing...

c-h l

...is a slightly shorter way to see the last 100 chars typed.

This can be v helpful when you type fast and sloppily and then wonder, "what the hell did I type to get here?"

Does any one know how to have emacs tell you what were the last n keystroks you just typed?

(Bouns points for how/where one finds the answer w/ "info emacs" or
some other emacs help facility)
