I haven't had a good experience with a UPS so I can't recommend one,
but I can definitely advise AGAINST Belkin UPSes. I had one (it was
cheap) and while the auto-powerdown over serial worked (in Windows at
least, this was many moons ago) it would completely shut down if
anything was plugged into it while it was on and eventually it just
died and won't turn on again, even as a power strip.
I do hear good things about APC though.
Please let us know what you find out, as I'm not real comfortable
with my server being vulnerable to power outages.
