I've been running various private lans on a Time Warner connection for
~6 years, and they've never said anything about it. They can't really
detect it remotely, and when TW technicians debug cable modems next to
my two media servers and industrial-strength switch, the only reaction I
see is, "wow, you like computers".
So, in my experience, they don't care.
