Attn: Fellow SigLinux Members

Greetings:

Tommorrow we hope to buy an AMD PC which comes with a Linspire [Unix] operating system. To add support software, we presume to install software on our shelf i.e., Open Office and other as found in SuSE Linux 9.2. Is this feasible and can one of you do the installations if the CPU is brought to some UT on-campus location after the purchase?

Your help would make two nonprofit agencies who as yet have no hands-on knowledge as needed to "use linux programs." That being the case, we'd also ask for a walk through on getting off the ground.

We await you.

Sincerely,
Kenneth Koym
