Based on the discussion we had on the mailing list some time ago, the indexes of the channels are supposed to be set to unique values. Let's set them to consecutive integers starting from zero.
Also a group of measurement values that together form a single result can be marked with frames. If frames are used, it then makes more sense to define also the limit in terms of frames instead of samples that no longer have any well defined meaning in this context.
