In this specific case I'd say it doesn't make much sense to try to stack on SPI anyway, since it's not SPI (just happens to be a similar synchronous protocol; pretty much anything with a CLK pin is "similar" to SPI really, but I'd only use stacking for *actual* SPI). In general we do want the feature of being able to combine logic and PD output as input into other PDs, there's a few nice use-cases for this. The feature is not yet supported, though.
