Dear IRIS Family,
The recent introduction of the Apple iPad has presented a challenge for the
IRIS Center and its resources. Many of the elements of the IRIS Modules use
Adobe Flash, a platform incompatible with the iPad. We wanted you to know that
we are aware of this issue and are currently working to correct it.
At present, we have retooled the IRIS Resource Locator
(http://iris.peabody.vanderbilt.edu/resources.html) so that it no longer needs
Flash to operate on the iPad. Further fixes will follow in the coming weeks. We
appreciate your patience and believe that--as we work to resolve this
issue--our efforts will represent substantial refinements to many of the
existing IRIS materials and resources.
