The IRIS Center is please to announce the posting of a host of new resources to

A new IRIS case study unit is now available:

·       Measuring Behavior: This case study unit, developed by Sara C. Bicard 
and David F. Bicard of the University of Memphis, provides information on how 
to collect observational data on student behavior. Methods introduced include 
event, interval, duration, and latency recording.

·       People-First Language: Learn the proper use of people-first language 
when referring to individuals with disabilities, and better identify instances 
when improper terminology is used to refer to individuals with disabilities.

·       LD & ADHD Simulation: Learn more about the characteristics often 
associated with a learning disability or ADHD.

subsequent ability to convey their knowledge and participate in class
