RaiMan proposed the following answer:
you have to try with the low level mouse actions
move, wait, button down, move, wait, button up
and find out which wait times are needed for the GUI to react as wanted
usually 0.1 to 0.5 are sufficient.
Doing this manually very slowly and watch the reaction of the GUI might
help, to understand the flow.
